Samsung has officially announced the release date for One UI 7 Android 15

Samsung has officially announced the release date for One UI 7, its custom user interface based on Android 15, for the Galaxy S23+ Ultra.
The stable rollout of One UI 7 is set to begin on April 7, 2025, in select regions, with a broader release, including the U.S., following shortly after on April 10, 2025. ​

Initially, the update will be available for the latest flagship models, such as the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6. Subsequently, the Galaxy S23 series, including the S23+, will receive the update. ​

One UI 7 introduces several enhancements, focusing heavily on AI features. It deepens integration with Google Gemini, making it the default assistant and enabling multi-app actions. Users can also benefit from natural language search in the Settings app, dynamic widgets via the Now Bar, and improved AI tools, including a new Audio Eraser for noise removal in videos. ​

For the Galaxy S23+ Ultra, the update will bring these AI enhancements, along with a refreshed user interface and performance improvements. However, it’s important to note that certain features, such as the Audio Eraser, may not be available on the S23 series with this update.

To check for the update on your Galaxy S23+ Ultra:

1. Navigate to Settings.​

2. Select Software Update.​

3. Tap on Download and Install.​

Ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi and has sufficient battery life before initiating the update.
